Casa El Algarrobo is located in the Axarquía, a beautiful hilly area with fields, almond and olive trees against a backdrop of mountains and forests of pine, oak and underbrush. The green and copper-colored fields are interrupted by the many whitewashed farmhouses scattered stand. There are beautiful historic villages in the region such as Comares, Riogordo and Colmenar, which are well worth a visit.
The central location of our finca is an ideal base for taking day trips, hikes, a day at the beach or other outdoor activities. And because of the mild climate you can be here all year round to take off. Casa El Algarrobo is located in a beautiful area of undulating valleys and winding mountain roads. You can enjoy walking or mountain biking, directly near our finca, or in one of the parks in the area (Montes de Malaga Torcal ...). A marked walk can be found in one of our many hiking guides. It contains some 100 walks ranging from short trips for beginners to long hikes for more experienced walkers. Prefer not to walk but with the bike? We have two mountain bikes for free at the disposal of our guests.
Also, golf lovers will find plenty in Andalusia their money. Malaga province is home to no less than forty golf courses, both on the coast and inland.
And beaches here is choice enough. From the fashionable beaches in the famous seaside resorts like Torremolinos, Fuengirola and Marbella south of Málaga, to the quieter beaches in the much less touristy, authentic Spanish villages like Rincón de la Victoria and Torre del Mar.
In the cultural field there is plenty to do in the beautiful royal cities: Malaga, Granada, Cordoba and Ronda. All easily accessible from our guesthouse.
